Good reasons to edit a chat

Tips for WhatsApp
Change the contact name at the top and the name in group messages in the same edit. Up to 20 lines cost one credit.
Keep a new message about as long as the old one and the bubble stays the same. A much longer or shorter message makes the bubble grow or shrink, and the chat below it moves.
Times are separate lines. Change them too if the new message needs a different time.
Not for
Making it look like a real person said something they did not, or editing a chat to use as proof. That breaks our terms, and such edits may be stopped. Payment and bank screens are refused by the scan.
What it will not edit
ID cards, passports, driving licences, certificates, transcripts, receipts, invoices and bank documents. The scan recognises these and the edit is refused before anything is charged. Editing them is forgery in most places, and we do not want that traffic.
Everything else that is yours to change is fine: your screenshots, your designs, your photos, images you have the rights to.
Questions
Can I hide a phone number in a WhatsApp screenshot?
Yes. Replace it with a placeholder such as "+1 555 0100" or a name. The number is redrawn in the same font, so the screenshot does not look covered up.
Does it work with dark mode and custom wallpapers?
Yes. The background around each line is kept, so dark mode, light mode and wallpapers all stay as they were.
Can I delete a message?
You can remove its text. The bubble may be left empty or shrink; to remove a whole message cleanly, crop it out instead.
Do I need to know the font?
No. The font, weight, color, outline and slant are copied from the pixels around the line. You only type the new words.
Does it keep the resolution?
Yes. The result is a PNG the same size as the image you uploaded, and apart from the lines you changed, the pixels are the ones you uploaded. Nothing is downscaled to fit a watermark or a free tier.
Is there a watermark?
No, on free and paid edits alike.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It runs in the browser on iPhone and Android. Upload from your camera roll, tap a line, type, download.
What does it cost?

What happens to my image?
It is sent to the model once and kept in private storage, with the result, for 30 days, then deleted. Delete the edit in your account and both go at once. Neither is public. See the privacy policy.
